The Nihara aromatherapy diffuser is elegant yet simple. It has a handmade opal glass cover with a bamboo base and its natural colors complement any decor. This unit has a built-in timer, Continuous and Intermittent mist options, and doubles as a lamp with three lighting choices. You can also set a separate 30-minute sleep timer for the light, or program the system to keep the light on even after the mist turns off. Nihara can also double as a night light.

The Nihara essential oil diffuser is the perfect size to contribute to a room’s decor without being too flashy or taking away from other elements. It has a sleek white glass cover and bamboo base that gives it a natural look. This unit also functions as a lamp and has a Breathing light mode that is incredibly soothing to watch.
Nihara’s cover is handcrafted from opal glass, which is incredibly durable while also giving the diffuser a premium look and smooth feel. The base is carved from natural bamboo and has a lovely wood grain pattern. This aroma diffuser is free of any bisphenol A (BPA) and has CE and Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (RoHS) certification.
This aromatherapy diffuser has various mist settings so you can customize your experience. You can choose an Intermittent (30 seconds on, 30 seconds off) or Continuous mist as well as selecting from four timer settings. The lamp function also allows you to choose the intensity of the light. You can make it Low, High, or set it to Breathing mode, which gently increases and decreases intensity. This unit also has a convenient sleep timer for the light, which will turn the lamp off after 30 minutes.
How It Works
Nihara is an ultrasonic diffuser, meaning that it uses a small ceramic disk (atomizer) to vaporize water and essential oil molecules using vibration. This also creates negative ions, which help to purify your air even if you use the unit as a humidifier without any added oils. A vent at the top of the unit allows a stream of mist to escape and releases the water vapor and oil particles into your air. Since ultrasonic diffusion does not use heat, it is safer and easier than other methods such as using an essential oil burner.
How To Use Your Nihara Aromatherapy Diffuser
Using Nihara
To use this diffuser, first remove the glass cover and the inner lid from the water tank. Add water from a separate container, being sure not to exceed the maximum level marked on the inside of the unit. Using distilled water will keep Nihara cleaner and will prolong the life of the diffuser. Next, add 5-10 drops of essential oil to the water. The amount depends on your personal preference and how strong the aroma is for the particular oil you are using. Replace the inner lid and cover, then plug Nihara in and turn it on.
Maintaining Your Aromatherapy Diffuser
Cleaning your unit helps ensure the continued purity of any aromas you diffuse. To do this, use a damp cloth or cotton swab to wipe down the inside of the tank and the atomizer. If you would like, you can use mild dish soap as well, although you should not use any other cleaning products. Doing so may damage Nihara. After cleaning, rinse out the tank thoroughly. We recommend completing this process once a week, but you may wish to clean more frequently if you use your diffuser often.
Diffuser Settings
Nihara has two buttons on the front of the base. The one on the left controls the mist modes. The first click turns the mist on, and it will continue running until you turn it off manually or it will automatically shut off if the unit runs out of water. If the unit is in this mode, it will display three green lights on the front. Clicking the left button again sets the timer to 60 minutes and will display the leftmost indicator light. A third click sets the timer to 180 minutes (middle light) and a fourth click sets the time to 480 minutes (right light). Clicking a fifth time turns the mist off. By pressing this button for two seconds until the indicator blinks, you can switch between Continuous and Intermittent mist.
The right button on Nihara controls the light. Pressing the button once turns it on in the High setting and pressing again will dim the light. A third press activates Breathing light mode. Clicking a fourth time will turn the light off. This diffuser also has a convenient sleep timer option if you wish to set the light to turn off after 30 minutes. To activate this, simply press and hold the right button. The three indicator lights will turn on and off one by one when the timer activates. You can deactivate the timer by pressing the button again, which will turn off the lamp. Note that the timer does not work with the Breathing light.
By default, the lamp will shut off at the same time as the mist if you are using a timed setting. However, if you want to keep the light on even after the diffusion stops, you can do so. Simply press both the buttons on the base of the unit until you see the left and middle indicator lights blink alternately. To disable this, hold both buttons again until you see the middle and right indicator lights blink alternately.
Cautions
Diffusing essential oils for longer than a few hours at once can lead to overexposure. As a result, we recommend limiting your diffusion time.

Always place this unit on a firm, flat surface that is out of reach of pets or children.
To ensure safe operation, do not cover the diffuser or insert any objects into the opening. You should never place Nihara in any liquid or touch the diffuser with wet hands. If the unit falls into water, remove power immediately and do not touch it. Stop use immediately if you notice any damage, unexpected sound, or unusual smell. Do not attempt to repair or replace any part of this diffuser.
The unit and its cord should be kept away from heat or combustible materials.
Only use high-quality, natural essential oils with your Nihara diffuser. Using any synthetic fragrances or perfumes can damage the unit and may be dangerous to your health.
