Ceramic Essential Oil Diffuser

Ananda Features and Description

Our Ananda aromatherapy essential oil diffuser has a textured ceramic cover that gives it a unique, modern look. The contrast between the white cover and the bamboo base helps this unit stand out. Its neutral colors look great with any style decor. Ananda doubles as a lamp so you can use it as an ambient light source even when you aren’t diffusing oils.

This essential oil diffuser has a handcrafted ceramic cover that is built to last. Its natural bamboo base also contributes to its quality design and natural aesthetic. The unit is made without any bisphenol A (BPA) and has Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (RoHS) and CE certification.

The Ananda essential oil diffuser has two different mist settings, Continuous and Intermittent. The Intermittent mist will run for thirty seconds then turn off for thirty seconds for the duration of your diffusion time. Whichever mode you use, you can use the timer to set the mist for 60, 180, or 480 minutes. Ananda also includes three different light settings: High, Low, and a soothing Breathing light which gradually increases and decreases its intensity.

How It Works

Ananda uses ultrasonic diffusion, which means that it contains a small ceramic disk (atomizer) inside the tank that vibrates to vaporize the water and essential oil. These vapors are then released through a vent at the top of the diffuser. The mist contains water molecules, essential oil molecules, and negative ions that help to purify your air. This process does not use heat like an essential oil burner, which helps make it safer and easier to use.

How To Use Your Ananda Essential Oil Diffuser

Using Ananda

To get started, remove the ceramic cover and inner lid from your essential oil diffuser. Fill the water tank, making sure not to exceed the maximum level marked on the inside. Using distilled water will keep Ananda cleaner and will prolong the life of the diffuser. Next, add essential oil to the water. Five to ten drops, depending on the particular scent’s intensity, will usually produce the desired aroma for most individuals. Replace the cover and inner lid, then plug Ananda into a wall socket. You can then turn on the mist, timer, and light using your preferred settings.

Maintaining Your Essential Oil Diffuser

Cleaning the atomizer regularly ensures your diffuser creates the purest possible aroma. This also helps prevent any build-up of oil residue, which can damage the unit over time. We recommend using a cotton swab or clean damp cloth to gently wipe the atomizer at least once a week. Make sure that the diffuser is unplugged when cleaning. If necessary, you can also use mild dish soap to clean the tank. Be sure to rinse Ananda thoroughly after cleaning. Do not use any other chemical products as these may damage your diffuser. If you diffuse often, more frequent cleaning is beneficial.

Essential Oil Diffuser Settings

This essential oil diffuser has two buttons on the front of the base. The left button controls the mist. One click turns the mist on, a second sets it for 60 minutes, a third for 180 minutes, a fourth for 480 minutes, and the fifth click will turn the unit off. To switch between Continuous and Intermittent mist, press the switch for two seconds until you see the indicator blink. Changing the mist mode will not interrupt or change the timer setting. The three lights in the middle of the buttons let you know what setting is active. When all three are green, it is set to always on. The light on the bottom indicates 60 minutes, the middle light 180 minutes, and the top light 480 minutes.

The right button controls Ananda’s light. The first click turns on the High light setting. A second click dims the light slightly. Clicking a third time activates the Breathing light. Finally, a fourth click turns the light off.

Cautions

Diffusing oils for a long period of time can lead to overexposure. As a result, we recommend only using Ananda for a few hours at a time.

This ultrasonic aroma diffuser is intended for indoor use only.

Always place the essential oil diffuser on a flat, firm surface and keep it out of reach of children or pets.

Make sure not to place anything on top of Ananda and do not insert any objects into the opening. Never put Ananda in any liquid or touch the unit with wet hands. If Ananda falls into water, remove power immediately and do not touch it. You should also stop use if there is damage to any part of the diffuser or if you notice an unusual sound/smell. Do not attempt to repair or replace any part of this essential oil diffuser.

Keep the cord and the diffuser away from heat or any combustible materials.

Only use high-quality, natural essential oils in your Ananda essential oil diffuser. Synthetic fragrance oils or perfumes can damage the system or be dangerous for your health when diffused.
